Ignorance of the rules is no excuse!
SMP Rules
- IRL Money For In-game Items - Selling or trading any in-game item such as ranks, cosmetics or any other item is strictly frowned upon.
- Claiming & Building - Claiming within 50 blocks or under from another player’s claim or build without the original person's consent/permission is not allowed. Please be mindful and respectful of the people around you.
- Inactivity - Please note that if you are inactive on the server for 45 days or more, your claims may be forfeited. This means that any builds, items, or structures within your claims may be removed by staff. To avoid losing your progress, be sure to stay somewhat active!
- Chargebacks - Charging back after buying something from our store is a permanent ban that is non-appealable.
- Blacklisted Modifications - Usage of disallowed modifications which significantly impact others, yourself, the server, software or hardware modifications is not allowed.
- Griefing & Stealing - Griefing and stealing is strictly prohibited on our network. This includes taking items, blocks, or any property that does not belong to you. This also includes claiming another user's land, farm, builds, chests, and altering/destroying their creations in any way. refunds for stolen items will be at the discretion of staff. To protect your belongings, please ensure that you claim your land and items at all times.
- TP Trapping & Killing - TP trapping or killing another player is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, tricking players into teleporting to you with the intent to kill, or trapping them in death pits, traps, or portals. Additionally, all forms of non consensual hurting or killing is strictly prohibited.
- Shop Advertisements - Shop advertisements are fine to send into chat, however please refrain from spamming shop advertisements in-game. Please ensure there is at least a 10 minute cooldown between your shop advertisements.
General Rules
- English Only - All conversations must be in English only while engaging on our network. This is to ensure our staff can effectively moderate and maintain a safe, friendly environment at all times.
- Punishment Evading - Evading any existing punishment, such as bans or mutes, is strictly prohibited on our network.
- Spamming & Copypastas - Please refrain from spamming messages, images, gifs and sending any copypastas. All instances of spam and copypastas will be judged on a case by case basis by our support team.
- Advertisements - Advertising your own discord server, Minecraft server or anything else is not allowed within our server or member's dm's.
- Purpose Annoyances - Intentionally annoying other players on our network is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, creating drama, trolling, setting homes at other players bases without permission, spam requesting teleport request’s, and similar disruptive behavior.
- Controversial Topics - All forms of controversial topics such as politics, religion, conspiracies and so on, must be kept away from our network. If you don't know what a controversial topic is, it's an intense subject of public debate, disagreement or disapproval.
- Discussing Punishments - Discussing any form of punishment, whether it's yours or someone else's is not allowed. If you have an issue with a punishment or wish to appeal, please submit a support ticket.
- Direct Swearing & Indirect Swearing - Swearing directly at another player on our network is not allowed. However Indirect light swearing (not aimed at another player/user) is allowed.
- Encouraging Harm - Encouraging any form of harm on another person or yourself is not allowed. Harm could include but is not limited to violence, death threats, illness, self-harm or suicide.
- Unsafe Links - Sending harmful URLs to harm or obtain personal data from other users within our network or server member’s DMs is strictly prohibited.
- Respect & Boundaries - Please remember to be kind, mindful, and respectful at all times while engaging on our network. This includes respecting personal boundaries and ensuring that no one feels uncomfortable, disrespected, or violated.
- Inappropriate Content - EternalMC is a SFW network, we will not tolerate any form of inappropriate phrases, builds, usernames, nicknames, skins, signs, conversations and overall any NSFW content. This also includes mentioning drugs, alcohol, illegal activities and sexual conversations.
- Doxxing & DDos - Threatening to release or give out personal information such as locations, IP addresses and overall any private information about any server members or yourself will not be tolerated on our network. This also includes joking about releasing personal information. As well as threatening to DDoS, crash, or otherwise harm the server or network in any way is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
- Discrimination & Harassment - We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment on our network such as racism, sexism, homophobia or anything along those lines.
- Staffing Each Other - Please refrain from staffing each other unless you are a member of our support team. If you encounter any issues, kindly open a support ticket for staff assistance.
- Bypassing Filters - Do not attempt to bypass any of our filters. This includes trying to exploit loopholes to send blacklisted words or inappropriate content into our chats.
Discord Rules
- Age Restrictions - Due to discord TOS, you must be 13+ to join and interact in our discord server.
- Microphone & Sound Disruption - Making unpleasant or loud sounds into your microphone is not allowed.
- Voice Calls - By joining a voice call on Eternal, you agree to follow all server rules. You also acknowledge that in the event of rule violations, recordings may be made for staff purposes only. These recordings will not be shared publicly or posted on social media, and staff will not record or clip conversations without your consent, except in cases of rule breaking.
- Streaming - To ensure we keep a safe environment for all members of Eternal, any games rated above "Teen" by ESRB are not allowed to be streamed in VC.
